Returns Policy & Returns Process
Eligible Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused, undamaged & in original condition.
- Original packaging and tags must still be attached.
- You must return the item within 30 days of the delivery date (counting from the day your order is marked delivered).
Sale Items:
Items purchased on Sale cannot be returned for change of mind, fit, or preference.
Faulty or Damaged Items:
If you received a defective or damaged product, please follow our Faulty Item process (see Refund Process below).
How to Start a Return
- Contact us
- Fill out this form.
- Include your order number, item(s) you want to return, and reason for return.
- Condition Check
- We’ll confirm if your item is eligible based on condition and our policy.
- Return Shipping
- You are required to pay for return shipping unless otherwise specified.
- We will provide return instructions and a shipping address.
- Send the Item Back
- Pack the item securely and ship with tracking.
- Include your order number inside the package.
- Inspection & Next Steps
- Once we receive your return and confirm it meets our return criteria, we’ll notify you of the refund or exchange outcome.
Refund Process
Standard Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected:
- You’ll receive a refund to your original payment method.
- Refunds are generally processed within 7–10 business days of receiving your return (processing times may vary by bank).
- If your return is approved, you’ll be notified by email with the refund details.
Faulty or Damaged Items
We want you to be 100% happy with your nerd belt purchase. If your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect:
- Fill out this form, with photos of the issue and your order number.
- We’ll review and approve the claim.
- Once confirmed, you’ll be offered a replacement, refund, or store credit — your preference where applicable.
Exchanges
We’re happy to offer exchanges to make sure you end up with the right size and/or item.
Exchange Eligibility
You can request an exchange if:
- The item is unused, unworn, and in original condition
- Original packaging and tags are intact
- The exchange request is made within 30 days of delivery
- The item was not purchased on Sale
How to Request an Exchange
- Fill out this form, making sure you include:
- Your order number
- The item you’d like to exchange
- The item you’d like instead (size/style/colour)
- Approval & Instructions
Once approved, we’ll send you return instructions and confirm availability of the replacement item. - Return the Original Item
- Items must be returned in original condition
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the exchange is due to a faulty or incorrect item
- We will cover the cost to re-send
- Processing the Exchange
- Once your return is received and inspected, your replacement item will be shipped
- You’ll receive tracking details via email
If Your Item Is Faulty or Incorrect
If we’ve made a mistake or your item is faulty:
- Fill out this form as soon as possible with photos and your order number
- We’ll organise an exchange at no extra cost, including return shipping where applicable
Important Notes
- Exchanges are subject to stock availability
- If the requested item is unavailable, we’ll offer a refund or store credit
- We do not offer exchanges on Sale items
- Shipping times for exchanged items may vary depending on location
Things to Keep in Mind
- Return shipping costs (when required) are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
- Transit loss: nerd belt is not responsible for parcels lost in transit.
- Partial Returns: Only the value of returned items will be refunded (shipping charges may not be refundable for partial returns).
